Town Hall Meeting

Business services, LRDP and campus construction are among the agenda items

Alissa Hummer, director of campus planning and design, was among those who presented at a Town Hall Meeting in Corwin Pavilion on Tuesday, March 11. She provided an update on the status of the campus’s Long Range Development Plan.

Other speakers reported on business transformation processes, including Enterprise Technology Services; the Financial System Implementation Project (FSIP); UCPath; KRONOS; and Gateway.

In addition, Marc Fisher, associate vice chancellor for administrative services, discussed campus construction and new residential housing projects such as the Bio-Engineering Building, the Faculty Club renovation, the Institute for Energy Efficiency, housing for KITP scholars-in-residence and the Sierra Madre and San Joaquin apartment complexes.

Campus police chief Dustin Olson gave a report on campus safety and security, and Jackie Treadway, director of facilities management, discussed reorganizations within the unit that are designed to make operations more efficient.
