The American Presidency Project has become the definitive online source for presidential documents.

Among the items posted on the site are public papers, inaugural addresses, proclamations, signing statements, executive orders, convention speeches, radio addresses, televised speeches, news conferences, and debates.

It also provides information on presidential selection, the presidents' relations with Congress, their popularity, public appearance, and growth of the executive branch.

Woolley's research focuses on change over time in the presidency and presidential use of unilateral action, and financial regulatory reform.

With Gerhard Peters, he developed the award-winning Web site, www.presidency.ucsb.edu, widely used by scholars and others interested in the presidency and American political history.
