Psychology Major, Applied Psychology Minor

With graduation on the horizon, I find myself reflecting on the moments that form my UCSB experience. Academically, I have been challenged and inspired by my coursework. As a product of this fine research institution, I have become a student of life who strives to learn about the world around me. Although I am grateful for my academic experience, I have learned even more from the relationships I formed with my fellow students, faculty, and staff. My peers have taught me to achieve my fullest potential while supporting the success of others. Friendships I have made here I truly believe will last a lifetime. My three years with Global Medical Brigades has helped me define my ethical compass, develop my leadership skills, and nurture my passion for healthcare. The faculty in Psychology and Brain Sciences has instilled a curiosity in me to continue my studies of the human mind. Finally, the wonderful staff of the Office of Student Life and their dedication to students has taught me the importance of being passionate about my work. The opportunities and relationships provided by UCSB has made my life more beautiful than a million Isla Vista sunsets. I will carry all of these experiences in my heart as I enter the next chapter of my life. Cheers, Gauchos! Thank you, UCSB!
