With a nurturing environment, UCSB’s dance programs help artists find themselves through movement

Cultivating performers, choreographers and scholars like, the dance programs in UCSB’s Department of Theater and Dance encourage students to explore and express their interests and individuality. With a conservatory-style track as well as courses in everything from dance history and dance criticism to dance therapy and theory, there is — in the words of undergraduate Anastasia McCammon — “no better place to study dance” than UCSB.
