Local Students Receive UCSB Chancellor's Scholarships

Twenty-six graduating high school seniors from Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties will enter UC Santa Barbara in the fall as Chancellor's Scholars.

The incoming freshmen will receive $2,000 a year for four years. Students are selected for this prestigious award on the basis of demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and exceptional promise.
