Reel Loud Silent Film Festival

Friday, May 26, 2017 - 18:00 to 23:00
26th Annual Reel Loud Silent Film Festival

UCSB's 26th Annual Reel Loud Silent Film Festival features a collaboration of film, music, art, and dance. Our Pre-show reception will include an art show, dance performances, refreshments, and photo ops on our red carpet!

The main event showcases silent, contemporary student films accompanied by live musical performances. At the end of the show, a panel of judges invited from esteemed positions within the art community will determine the winners of four different categories, including the Scott Wells Award for Best Direction. This year’s theme is, "Now: Yesterday's Tomorrow, Tomorrow's Yesterday" collaborating ideas of both steampunk and modernity to express what students constitute as being in the NOW. Encouraging artists of any medium to use their chosen platform to express important sentiments, ideas, and most importantly, themselves.

Join Us on Friday, May 26th, at 7:00pm at Campbell Hall
Pre-Show reception starts at 6pm.
