Nominations Requested for Storke, Friedman and Other University Awards

Awards recognize students who have performed ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ in service to the university and the surrounding community

The campus community is invited to submit nominations for the 2014 University Awards, which are given to students completing undergraduate or graduate degrees during the current academic year. Recipients are honored for performing “above and beyond the call of duty” in service to the university, the student body and the community.

Among the awards are the Thomas More Storke Award; the Jeremy D. Friedman Memorial Award; the Yonie Harris Award for Civility in Public Discourse; the Alice Marita Whitted Memorial Award; the University Service Award and the University Award of Distinction.
