As we prepare to embark on a third millennium A.D., Ninian Smart, UCSB emeritus professor of religious studies, will recall what religion was all about at the conclusion of the first in a talk at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6 at the University Club, 1332 Santa Barbara St. in Santa Barbara.
